I know that a lot of you are scared right now.
It's terrifying to see how the government is doubling down on its already sickening efforts to dehumanize and exploit women.
The state has been trying for centuries to silence, oppress, and completely manipulate and exploit women.
I am a cult survivor.
I was raised in one of the most dangerous doomsday sex cults in the world.
I escaped when I was 20 years old and I went to college and earned three college degrees in international relations and foreign policy.
And here's what you need to understand.
There is an intrinsic link between the existence of the nation state the industrialized world and the exploitation of the female body.
Think about it.
We've all heard of something called human capital.
We've been made to believe that human capital is the value that you have as a laborer because of the skills that you acquire.
No, it's not.
Human capital is human bodies who are used to produce in the industrial state.
To the state, the best kind of human capital is cheap human capital.
That's why capitalists invented slavery.
Now you can't have cheap human capital if these humans are born into a life of abundance.
No, they have to be born into poverty and terrible difficult circumstances with nothing and no education and no resources because then they'll be desperate enough to join the military, to end up in prison, or to end up in some low paying job.
And that's why they took away our abortion rights and they took away sex ed and any other recourse for young women and girls to have an educated decision about their future or to take their future into their own hands.
As long as a woman is able to decide when she has a child, she holds the means of production of human capital in her hands.
And that is why the state is determined to control our bodies.
And it's for the same reason that the government hates intersex and transgender people because they don't fit into one of the neat and tidy categories of male or female where you can either make babies or go to war.
Transgender people upset the dichotomy.
So essentially, patriarchy and capitalism reduces women to a mere unit of production, a small factory that can be used to create more bodies to pump into this machine.
I know this is really hard to hear, but we have to be clear about what is really going on here so that we can resist accordingly.
